Kengo C.M.A. Karate & Jujitsu is a Martial Arts School owned by Shihan Ed Brizzolara that substitutes Eastern philosophy with Christian principles while teaching self-defense techniques in Karate & Jujitsu.
Kengo C.M.A. Karate & Jujitsu was created in February 2008 after Shihan Ed Brizzolara decided to disassociate himself from the federation he was once part.
Through scriptures the students learn eleven virtues:
1. Faith 7. Friendship
2. Humanity 8. Kindness
3. Honor 9. Wisdom
4. Courtesy 10. Loyalty
5. Knowledge 11. Courage
6. Trust
There is also four basic life rules taught:
1. Obedience to God
2. Obedience to ones parents
3. Loyalty to one country
4. Trust and Brotherhood among friends
Shihan Ed Brizzolara does not "water down" the Karate & Jujitsu techniques and expect his students to work hard in order to achieve a level of perfection in executing the moves.
Shihan Ed Brizzolara enjoys teaching and believes that besides learning how to defend his/herself, this venue is a great way to build strong character, self-confidence, good physical well-being, and a strong faith in the Lord.
